Barbless hooks FTW! I switched a few of my lures from trebles to barbless single hooks. It's been easier to recover lures from rock snags and some grass/vegetation snags.

Ihave fished Gull Lake maybe 20 times and must say you are catching some big ones! Way to go! My younger brother once caught a 3 1/2 pounder from shore there. Never saw any bass!
